Ascension wow talent calc12/30/2023 ![]() If you're keeping new treants from capping charges, you're effectively picking up +1 GCD to use roughly every 20ish seconds. Right now, a Swiftmend into Wild Growth is a good 2 GCDs and some delay on a cast, but with this change, you're look at just 1 GCD. ![]() ![]() The most insane thing about this change as-is is that it basically takes the two limiting factors R Druid ever has, mana and GCDS, and would potentially neuter the first entirely, while the second is giving major economy. There are other nodes that lean into more damage, and others that lean into more ST or more AoE into your kit. They could potentially double the charge restoration from 20s to 40s and chances are it would still be strong, given how those spells play.īut to pick them up isn't free, we need to shift points out of somewhere, which means we now have a bit more play in our tree. Even if those treants did nothing after, and even if their casts do not interact with other talents (though they likely will to some degree), those two nodes do a lot of what resto druid wants to be doing.īeing able to have more mobility in your AoE throughput now means that the only real hardcast spells we have are Regrowth and, if you press the botton for more than 1-2 ticks, Tranquility. That the follow up talent is "also, 3 of your 4 charges of Swiftmend are followed by instant Wild Growths" is strong. If that talent had just been "your Swiftmend now has 4 charges", that would be a strong talent to consider. With JUST this change alone at current values, anyone used to kitty weaving is looking at gaining something like +double digit mana potions per M+ key worth of mana for no opportunity cost AND gaining the ability to spread Moonfire again.īut the treant ability is deceptively strong as written. With the change from Deep Focus to Master Shape Shifter for R Druid, they're going to need a nerf at some point, likely in the mana gain portion. I hope this isn't the end of changes for them going into 10.1.7. Neither of these specs are broke so i understand not wanting to change much but there are still pitfalls to both specs and the changes somewhat cover them. 1) makes new tea channel faster and gives back more mana or 2) makes vivify+rising kick help give stacks for mana tea instead of it just interacting with mana spent. In the old mana tea location that entire choice node has been changed to interact with the new mana tea. So you don't have to: for Mistweavers they are getting rid of Spirit of the Crane (mana back by way of dps rotation), giving us 2 charges of Renewing Mist as well as giving us Mana tea baseline by way of talent tree location (new mana tea as a channel gives back mana based on how much mana you spent - spend more gives more back with crits assisting with that). Comment by BluClosetGamer on T09:35:11-05:00 Haha, imagine there are other healer specs than hpal till next patch or who knows the entire expac. If so, MW and Rdruids are less fortunate when it comes to "talent reworks". ![]() The fact that there was a bluepost with changes most likely means this is the extent pf the changes.
